Being one of the biggest OEM die-casting manufacturers in China, Modern Metal & Refining Ltd. was established in Hong Kong in 1969. Our main business nature is to produce supreme quality of Aluminum high pressure die casting parts. The services that we provide include tooling design, tooling fabrication, die-casting, secondary process, CNC precision machining, chromating, wet/ powder painting and sub-assembly.
With over 30 years experience in casting industry, we produce a wide range of casting products which are widely applied in the fields such as Automotive, Temperature Control, Automation & Control, Telecommunication, Gear Box Reducer, Electrical Motor, Lighting Fixture, etc. Our products and services are well appreciated by the global leaders including Honeywell, Invensys, Emerson, Trelleborg, Hutchinson, Motorola and Sharp, to name just a few.
To sustain our competitive advantage in the market, in 1992 our company set up a plant – Shang Sha Modern Metal & Refining Ltd, in Dongguan, China, which is within an hour drive from the border of Hong Kong. Fully equipped with advanced machines and technology know-how, the plant enables us to serve our customers better. With an area of 30,000 square meters, the premises consist of eight buildings. Hitherto, the factory has more than 1000 employees with the managerial personnel all recruited from Hong Kong.
In addition, as part of our company development plan, a new plant (namely MMP - Modern Metal and Precision), with area 42,000 square meters, has been built nearby the old plant. Two plants are only 5 minutes drive apart. MMP starts operating since March 2003. In the first phase, 11 sets brand new high pressure die casting machines have been installed. 400 employees are employed.
